Quilted Flannel

12/14/2016

Doug looked frightened, apprehensive about my presence.  His thick, quilted flannel Buffalo Plaid shirt, his worn jeans, his tan work boots shouted the language of an outdoor, working man.

Any thoughts about Doug's profession?  Remember, he is in the Adirondack Mountains.

Knowing the Adirondacks as we do, one would be tempted to think that Doug was a logger by trade, but then again, he might just as easily be a banker.
