Real good

"You play that guitar real good," Len said one day as I began to pack up.

And as I was halfway out the door he added, "I always wanted to play one."
Where do you think Len's statement will take me?  Where would you go with it?

I would like to think that after a little more dialogue there would be a suggestion by Len that if he were to acquire a suitable instrument you might be willing to help him with some very rudimentary skills so that he could pass the time between your visits learning to play for himself well enough to enjoy his own effort.

Len was pretty hesitant to ask for anything. Our "dialogue" was limited by my "job" to offer him music and how easily he tired in a short time. He was not much of a talker. He was quite solitary, probably from being a solo trick driver all those years.
BUT.......something does happen after those guitar comments.
