More Than Music

​Robin shares a light introduction about her work as a therapeutic musician and/or her process of coming to write and publish her book, "MUSICAL MORPHINE:Transforming Pain One Note at a Time."  She then reads three uniquely different excerpts from her book and follows each reading with live music referred to in each reading.  Q and A welcome at conclusion. Book sales and signing afterward.

Less Drugs, More Music

New Program*

Robin tailors this presentation to those involved with drug addiction and withdrawal either as treatment facilitator or patient. Robin shares her personal story about how music assisted her own struggle to overcome addiction, how appropriate music became a most powerful drug for her, mitigating the serious symptoms of withdrawal.  Evidence-based short presentation about the effects of music on the body, mind and spirit, will be followed with personalized self-discovery and practical take aways for healing through music. Interactive. Practical.  Question and answer, discussion.

Private Therapeutic Music Session

Robin will travel to the bedside or chair side of someone who will benefit from the presence of personalized, private live acoustic therapeutic music. Vocal and or instrumental music may calm anxiety, revive memory, lower blood pressure, assuage loneliness and depression, ease pain, lessen need for drugs, encourage healing.  

With fourteen years of experience as a music practitioner, Robin is highly recognized for her skills and extraordinary warmth with patients/clients who are critically or chronically ill, elderly or dying in Hospice, hospitals, nursing homes, rehabs, or private homes.
